Childhood and the Family Farm

This book is for those individuals who spent their childhood, or some part of it, on the family farm. Individuals who may want—as I do on occasion—a doorway back to that time, enough of a doorway, at least, that with a little imagination they can revisit the stories and places of their own childhood. My hope is that this book serves that purpose, and more generally, perhaps, that it offers an opportunity to reflect on the nature of one’s childhood whenever and wherever it occurred. — David Thomas, PhD
