The age of abundance has arrived. Long dreamed of. And yet, by any number of measures, it appears humanity is losing its will to live. A course is created intended to return to participants their enthusiasm for life. The course is anchored to “human logic”, the logic by which we educate, mature and enlighten ourselves, the logic (or ethics) by which we acquire the maturity and creativity needed to embrace the age of abundance, the Singularity and beyond.

The book follows the main character’s effort to create such a course. A variety of topics are discussed: the sense of obsolescence and irrelevancy felt by humans given the presence of Superintelligence, the pursuit of and importance of a purpose beyond material want, determinism, culture, consciousness, the importance of “continuing with valued behavior”. A schematic depicting the Five Levels of Human Development is provided and discussed. So, too, the Twelve Ethics of Human Development. At base, the book is about the evolving self, about the human logic that aids us in our pursuit of whatever maturity and enlightenment is ours to obtain.
